Bedore Jeffery Properties Inc. small is a property development company, operating in Saint John, New Brunswick. We specialize in the renovation & property development of heritage buildings, located in uptown & downtown areas, and we take pride in maintaining the architectural and heritage legacy of our properties.
We are looking for a Labourer to join our team, either a recent graduate or a candidate looking for summer employment, between 18-30 years of age. The ideal candidate must be self motivated, some experience with hand tools and interested in working on various projects, involving general labour, light carpentry & renovation. Tasks may include, but not limited to;
- digging/landscape type of labour
- carrying building materials
- assisting with digging out a basement
- drywall and crackfilling/painting
- carrying building materials up two flights of stairs
- the candidate must be physically able to lift up to 50 lbs, traverse stairs, and carry out basic physical labour.
-experience working on a team and respectful interaction with management and staff
-working independently, but with occasional supervision during the work day, (we do not hover over our employees)
-work productively, follow instructions, stay on task and have a desire to achieve goals
-strict adherence to workplace safety and best practices for a safe work environment
This position can start immediately. The starting rate of pay is budgeted to be $17.50-20.00 per hour. If the candidate is returning to school in the fall, there may be opportunities for part-time work throughout the school year.
