We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently during meal preparation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations throughout shifts
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs for restocking ingredients or supplies
- Ensure all dishes are prepared in accordance with health regulations and restaurant standards
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service roles, preferably within a restaurant or food industry setting
- Must have full availability days, evenings and weekends
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of meal preparation and kitchen operations
- Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Kitchen experience with familiarity in various cooking techniques is preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as needed
- A positive attitude, teamwork-oriented mindset, and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
Pay: $20.00-$21.00 per hour
