Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while providing exceptional customer service. This role requires a combination of driving expertise, warehouse experience, and strong communication skills to ensure timely deliveries and maintain high standards of safety.
Duties
- Operate commercial vehicles to transport goods to various locations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.
- Perform heavy lifting as required, adhering to safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members regarding delivery schedules and requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs for mileage and fuel consumption.
- Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to manage inventory and assist with moving products as needed.
Qualifications
- Valid Class 5 License With Airbrakes.
- Previous experience in commercial driving is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients.
- Excellent communication skills for effective coordination with team members and customers.
- Experience operating forklifts is a plus.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics processes.
