Title of Position: Tennis Coach
We're looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Tennis Coach to join the team at the Whistler Racket Club. Whether you're just starting out in your coaching career or you're an experienced pro, we'd love to hear from you.
The Role
This is a hands-on coaching position covering a mix of junior and adult programs, private lessons, and group classes. You'll be stepping in immediately, so we're looking for someone who can hit the ground running.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with tennis classes across junior and adult programs
- Leading junior and adult tennis classes independently
- Delivering private lessons (based on ability and experience)
- Racket stringing (an asset, not a requirement)
What We're Looking For
- A passion for tennis and for coaching people of all ages and abilities
- A Tennis Canada certification is preferred but not required — we're open to candidates who are working toward their certification or who bring strong playing and teaching experience
- Comfortable working with juniors and adults alike
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player
- Someone who has accommodation secured in Whistler
Compensation
$22 – $30 per hour, depending on experience, qualifications, and playing level.
