Job Overview
We are currently seeking a dependable, safety-conscious, and hardworking General Laborer / Forklift Operator to join our client's warehouse team. This is a part-time position, working Tuesday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in keeping warehouse operations running efficiently.
The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of warehouse duties, including moving finished goods, loading and unloading trucks, operating acounter balance forklift and hand pumps, moving and storing materials, loading and unloading shipments, and assisting with general warehouse operations. Candidates must have at least one year of previous forklift experience and valid forklift license and experience operating forklifts safely in a warehouse environment.

Duties
- Safely operate forklifts, clamp trucks, to move products within the warehouse
- Perform heavy lifting of goods and materials, ensuring proper handling techniques
- Conduct basic maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure safety and functionality
- Support order fulfillment processes by accurately picking, packing, and preparing items for shipment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse workspace
- Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries
- Assist in loading and unloading trucks as needed, ensuring timely delivery schedules
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Valid forklift ticket with one year of proven experience
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and standing for extended periods
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order picking and inventory management
- Good communication skills for teamwork and safety compliance
