Overview
We are seeking a licensed Electrician with a 442A certification to join our team. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various projects, ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, experience with industrial electrical systems, and the ability to interpret schematics and blueprints. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to execute electrical installations and repairs accurately.
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical systems including low voltage wiring, power tools, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to perform electrical work efficiently and safely.
- Conduct renovations and upgrades on existing electrical systems in commercial or industrial settings.
- Diagnose electrical issues using schematics and troubleshooting techniques; perform repairs as needed.
- Ensure all work complies with local codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Assist in the installation of control panels, wiring for machinery, and other electrical components related to construction or renovation projects.
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed and materials used for each project.
Experience
- Valid 442A electrician license with active certification.
- Proven experience as an industrial electrician or in a similar construction environment.
- Strong knowledge of schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams related to electrical systems.
- Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and low voltage systems is preferred.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and safety procedures in industrial or construction settings.
- Background in renovation projects or general handyman experience is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments requiring attention to detail and safety compliance.
Pay: $40.00-$45.00 per hour
