POSITION SUMMARY
The Analyst, MDM is responsible for key aspects of meter data management, including setup, system installation, and data analysis. This role supports accurate energy measurement, collaborates with teams on meter operations, and maintains reports and documentation, providing a foundation for growth in meter data management.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

System Operations: Support the operation and monitoring of meter data collection and management systems to ensure consistent performance.

Data Validation: Assist in the acquisition, validation, and basic editing of interval data to maintain accurate and complete data records.

Load Accuracy Checks: Perform preliminary validation of load profiles and assist in ensuring the accuracy of energy consumption data.

System Monitoring: Monitor meter data management systems and report performance issues to senior team members.

Customer/ClientSupport Assistance: Collaborate with Customer Service and Client Success by preparing and sharing interval data and/or investigation results through reports or file transfers as needed.

Meter Mapping Support: Help with the registration, commissioning, and auditing of meter installations under guidance.

Issue Troubleshooting: Assist in diagnosing potential issues with meters or installations that may impact billing accuracy and customer/client relationship

Field Operations Support: Work closely with Certified Meter Mechanics/Testers to provide basic support for technical issues in field operations.

Coordination Efforts: Help liaise and coordinate with internal and external parties on suite meter installations and data communication tasks.

Perform other relevant duties as assigned.
REQUIRED EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS

1-2 years of work experience, ideally in the sub-metering industry or adjacent segment

University degree or college diploma in engineering, data science, or related field

Knowledge of Submetering Industry, Meter Data Management system, VEE, and Market Rules would be an asset

Demonstrated advanced ability in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
