Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Licensed Plumber to join our dynamic construction and maintenance team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across a variety of commercial and residential projects. Your expertise will ensure that plumbing infrastructure is safe, efficient, and compliant with all relevant codes and standards. Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in new construction and renovation projects
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute plumbing layouts
- Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to assemble and install plumbing components with precision
- Conduct routine inspections to identify leaks, blockages, or system failures; troubleshoot issues effectively
- Collaborate with carpenters, HVAC technicians, and other trades to coordinate project timelines and ensure seamless integration of building systems
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely while adhering to safety protocols
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and inspections completed for project documentation
Qualifications
- Valid state-issued license as a professional plumber with comprehensive knowledge of plumbing codes and standards
- Proven experience in construction or maintenance environments involving plumbing systems
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with familiarity in carpentry, HVAC systems, schematics reading, and blueprint interpretation
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques
- Ability to read schematics accurately and perform basic math calculations essential for measurements and layouts
- Experience with heavy lifting tasks related to construction projects; physically capable of handling demanding workloads
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to plumbing work including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
