Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized Canadian Immigration Case Manager to join our ON-SITE team in Surrey, BC. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in managing client cases, coordinating services, and ensuring accurate documentation. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where strong administrative, research, and communication skills are essential. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting clients through various stages of case management while maintaining compliance with organizational standards and legal requirements.
Duties
- Conduct thorough research and gather relevant information using tools such as CanLii and Canada.ca to support case development.
- Manage case files with meticulous attention to detail, including filing, data entry, and document organization.
- Draft legal documents, reports, and correspondence with precision, ensuring clarity and adherence to legal drafting standards.
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling interviews, coordinating meetings, and maintaining case timelines.
- Regularly communicate with clients and stakeholders to collect pertinent information for case assessments.
- Proofread all documents for accuracy, consistency, and professionalism before submission.
- Utilize project management skills to prioritize caseloads effectively and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when communicating with clients, attorneys, and other stakeholders.
- Maintain organized records of case progress while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with privacy policies.
Experience
- Proven, 2+ years of Canadian immigration case filing experience with strong organizational skills is required.
- Experience in research, legal drafting, or project management is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with legal research tools such as CanLii and Canada.ca is preferred.
- Prior experience with CaseEasy, G-Suite or similar document management systems is a plus.
- Excellent writing skills with the ability to produce clear, concise reports and correspondence.
- Strong attention to detail demonstrated through proofreading and data entry accuracy.
This is an ON-SITE role that requires a proactive individual who can multitask efficiently and provide exceptional support for case management processes.
