Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Shop Foreman to oversee daily operations within our workshop. The ideal candidate will have welding experience (welding ticket would be an asset), computer literacy, organizational skills, and be mechanically inclined, with the ability to keep up to date maintenance records.
Duties
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies.
- Manage inventory of tools, parts, and supplies necessary for daily operations.
- Provide hands-on support with heavy lifting, welding, electrical work, or mechanical repairs as needed.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed and communicate effectively with management regarding project status or issues.
- Keep workshop clean and organized.
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive/equipment repair, welding, and machinery.
- Ability to operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Organizational skills.
- Heavy lifting capability and physical stamina to handle demanding tasks throughout the workday.
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and industrial maintenance.
Pay: $18.00-$24.00 per hour
