Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metal fabrication processes and be proficient in various welding techniques. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work with a variety of tools and equipment to produce high-quality metal products.
Duties
- Interpret and read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine specifications and requirements for fabrication projects.
- Utilize MIG and TIG welding techniques to assemble metal components accurately.
- Operate various machinery including cutting equipment, press brake machines, and machining tools.
- Perform rigging tasks safely while moving and forklifts.
- Conduct assembly tasks using hand tools and power tools while adhering to safety protocols.
- Measure dimensions and verify tolerances using calipers and basic math skills to ensure precision in fabrication.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored after use.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while meeting quality standards.
Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills:
- Proficiency in welding (MIG and TIG) with experience in manufacturing environments.
- Ability to work with Aluminum, stainless steel and Bronze
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documents effectively.
