Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various locations across the GTA, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining excellent customer service. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and professionalism, with opportunities to grow. Candidates with prior catering or food delivery experience will be considered an asset.
Duties
- Safely operate company vehicles for local deliveries, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Load and unload catering food deliveries or event rentals when necessary
- Inspect delivery vehicles regularly to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance
- Manage order documentation, including delivery manifests and schedules
- Communicate effectively with logisctic manager and other drivers on the team regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise
- Runs errands such as product pick-ups and returns.
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on time, providing excellent customer service throughout the process
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle at all times
Qualifications
- Valid G driver’s license with a clean driving record suitable for commercial driving
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physically demanding tasks regularly
- Prior experience in logistics, transportation, or related fields is a plus
- Must pass background and reference checks
