Summary
We are seeking a Trailer Mechanic to join our team at Earl Hardy Trucking Inc. This position is vital for maintaining our fleet's performance and safety standards, contributing directly to our mission of delivering excellence in transportation services.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on trailers and related equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose mechanical issues and provide effective solutions for repairs.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during maintenance tasks.
- Conduct inspections to identify potential problems before they escalate.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance schedules.
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed on trailers.
- Maintain both the shop and equipment in an operational, clean, and organized condition.
- Perform other duties as required.
Requirements
- Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in trailer repair.
- Familiarity with electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to work with various hand tools and power tools safely.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
