About this role
MGB Building Group builds and renovates high-end custom homes across the GTA. We're looking for a seasoned Sales Representative with real residential construction industry experience — someone who knows the business, speaks the language, and can walk into a conversation with a homeowner and close.
You'll own the sales process from first contact through to close, working directly with ownership to bring in new business and build lasting client relationships. This is not a role for someone who needs to be trained on the fundamentals of construction — you already know how builds work, what things cost, and how to talk shop with clients who ask detailed questions.

What you'll do
- Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, qualifying, presenting, negotiating, and closing
- Build and manage a healthy pipeline of homeowners and small commercial clients (e.g., studios, office spaces, boutique retail)
- Speak confidently to scope, materials, timelines, and pricing without constant hand-holding
- Meet clients in person — at the office, on job sites, and at their properties across the GTA
- Follow up relentlessly and keep deals moving so nothing slips through the cracks
- Protect margin while closing — negotiate firmly and professionally
- Track deals and manage your pipeline in our CRM
- Hit and exceed sales targets
What we're looking for
- Proven sales experience in construction, renovation, or home building — this is a must, not a nice-to-have
- A track record of hitting and beating sales targets
- Deep enough industry knowledge to talk shop and answer technical client questions with confidence
- Strong closing skills and the ability to manage a full pipeline independently
- Persistence and follow-through — you chase every lead and don't let deals go cold
- Comfortable meeting clients in person
- Confident handling price pushback while protecting margin
- Valid G-class driver's licence and reliable vehicle
- Self-driven — you know what you're doing and don't need to be told twice
Role details
Schedule: Mon–Fri, full-time
Type: Full-time, permanent
Location: In-person, GTA (office, job sites, and client meetings)
Pay: Base pay + commission. We're looking for the right person to join our team long-term. If that's you, we'll compensate you accordingly.
