Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Truck Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Truck repair and maintenance, with the ability to work on both Volvo and FRGHT trucks . This role requires a commitment to providing excellent customer service while ensuring that all repairs are completed efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic tests on vehicles to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.
- Conduct routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Repair or replace defective parts using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including parts used and labor hours.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean working environment.
Skills
- Proficient in truck repair techniques and practices.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during repairs.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems related to automotive applications is beneficial.
- Familiarity with heavy equipment operation and safety protocols.
- Competence in using power tools safely and effectively.
- Experience working with Caterpillar machinery is an advantage but not mandatory.
