Greenhouse Worker
If you like working in an environment of plants and getting your hands a little dirty, this is the job for you! Devan Greenhouses is looking for candidates with an open availability to work in our wholesale department. This job includes everything that it takes to get a plant from seed to ready to sell in store!
Responsibilities
- Picking orders, planting, watering, pinching, plant maintenance, packing orders, young plant orders, cleaning, making carts, spacing, filling pots with soil, putting tags in pots, and stickering.
- Propagation of plants (cutting, sticking, liner maintenance)
- General greenhouse and farm tasks that may be required to maintain and facilitate crops and facility.
- Must have a positive attitude, be willing to learn, and be able to follow directions.
Qualifications and skills:
- Good physical health is required as this job requires bending, lifting, and moving garden and floral products.
- Be self-motivated, punctual, and reliable.
- Work well in both an independent and a team environment.
- Maintain an overall friendly and professional manner.
- Able to lift 30lbs.
- Able to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
