Summary
Our team is currently seeking a licensed DZ Truck Driver to join our dynamic and customer-focused team. You will safely and efficiently deliver and pick up roll-off bins at construction sites, commercial properties, and residential locations throughout the Greater Tri-City Area.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely deliver and pick up roll-off bins
- Protect customer property and maintain a professional image at all times
- Provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment
- Perform daily circle checks, pre-trip, and post-trip inspections
- Ensure loads are properly secured and comply with MTO regulations
- Effectively communicate with dispatch regarding route updates or changes
- Maintain a clean and well-kept truck
- Prepare truck for the next day’s deliveries
- Report any vehicle, safety, or customer concerns to management
- Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and traffic laws
- Participate in ongoing safety programs and training
Key Requirements
- Valid DZ license with a clean driver’s abstract
- Minimum 3 years of commercial driving experience preferred
- Roll-off truck experience considered an asset
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Strong work ethic with pride in your work
- Team-oriented attitude
- Comfortable using tablets/iPads and learning new technology
- Flexible scheduling and willingness to work overtime during busy seasons
Schedule
- Monday to Friday, typically 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- Summer Saturdays as required
- Seasonal scheduling adjustments, including a 4-day workweek during the winter season
- Overtime paid after 44 hours per week
