Overview
We are seeking an experienced Appliance Repair Technician to join our team in Ottawa/Gatineau. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in appliance repair, electrical systems, and mechanical troubleshooting. This role involves diagnosing and repairing a variety of household appliances, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety. Prior experience with schematics, HVAC systems, and assembly processes is highly valued. Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair a wide range of household appliances including washers, dryers, refrigerators, ovens, and dishwashers
- Interpret electrical schematics and mechanical diagrams to identify issues accurately
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure optimal appliance performance
- Install, assemble, and test repaired appliances to meet company standards
- Provide outstanding customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance procedures clearly
- Maintain detailed records of service calls, repairs performed, and parts used
- Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations during all repair activities
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of service appointments
Requirements
- Proven experience in appliance repair or related technical fields preferred
- Strong electrical experience with the ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams
- Mechanical knowledge related to appliance components and systems
- Familiarity with HVAC systems and assembly processes is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
- Ability to troubleshoot complex problems using technical manuals and schematics
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $25.00-$45.00 per hour
