Diversified Staffing Services, one of the leading staffing agencies in Alberta, is looking for General Laborers with a CAR to assist with multiple projects in Calgary and surrounding areas.
The position may include but are not limited to:
- Warehouse duties
- Construction site support
- Demolition site support
- Order picking and packing
- Loading and unloading trailers
- Housekeeping, cleaning and sweeping
- Food production line support
- Other general labour duties
- Required Skills
- A valid driver’s license and personal vehicle
- Highly motivated and a great attitude
- Effective communication skills
- Able to work as part of a team and to get along with others
- Good physical fitness
- Able to carry and lift items both up to and over 50lbs
- Steel toed boots (we can supply other PPE equipment)
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year experience performing construction work
- Able to carry heavy (50 lbs+) for an extended period of time
- Work well alone of with a team
- Operate power tools
- Having valid tickets considered an asset
- Having a reliable vehicle considered an asset
- Out of town assignments qualify for travel pay
