Evergreen Traders is looking for a retail store manager for our upcoming Moncton location. This is a permanent, full-time position with a starting salary of $50-70k per year plus performance bonuses.
Who are we?
Evergreen Traders buys, sells, and loans money on quality preowned merchandise. We are a locally owned company that started in Fredericton in 1994. Every day we help people in need with short terms loans and reduce waste by recycling pre-owned goods back into the marketplace.
What will you be doing here?
The store manager is responsible for all daily operations and goal achievement. We want you to think of the store as your store and run it like you would run your own business. Training and developing your team are your most important functions. You can expect to spend 50% of your time mentoring your staff, 25% serving clients, and 25% in the office and/or backroom.
· Hire, train and develop new team members.
· Maintain exceptional customer service standards.
· Monitor and manage inventory and cash flow.
· Look for ways to increase revenue through efficiency and innovation.
· Participate in weekly and monthly management meetings.

What do you need to be successful?
· You should be a high energy person who enjoys working with people.
· Some education beyond high school. A business degree or certificate is recommended.
· Previous management experience.
· A willingness to hold yourself accountable and take responsibility for your success.
· Product knowledge in Jewellery, musical instruments, or computers would be an asset, but not required.
