Job Summary
We are looking for friendly, reliable, and customer-focused individuals to join our team at Shell Gas Station. As a Customer Service Representative, you will provide excellent service to customers, operate the cash register, maintain a clean and organized store, and help ensure a safe and welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Process cash, debit, credit, and mobile payments accurately.
- Assist customers with fuel purchases and convenience store products.
- Stock shelves, coolers, and merchandise displays.
- Maintain cleanliness of the sales floor, washrooms, and food service areas.
- Monitor inventory and notify management of low stock.
- Follow food safety, health, and company policies.
- Verify identification for age-restricted products in accordance with applicable laws.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve concerns professionally.
- Perform opening, closing, and shift-end procedures.
- Support team members with daily store operations as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous retail, cashier, or customer service experience is an asset..
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Cash-handling abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 25 lbs (11 kg).
- Mostly evenings shifts but Flexible availability will be preferred.
