Your Spot Convenience & Gas Station is looking for friendly, dependable, and customer focused individuals to join our team. As a Convenience Store & Gas Station Associate, you will provide excellent customer service, maintain a clean and organized store, process sales transactions, and help ensure the smooth daily operation of both the convenience store and fuel station. Responsibilities
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Process cash, debit, and credit card transactions accurately using the POS system.
- Assist customers with fuel purchases, store products, and general inquiries.
- Restock shelves, coolers, and displays to ensure products are well presented.
- Monitor inventory levels and notify management of low-stock items.
- Maintain cleanliness of the sales floor, washrooms, coffee station, and other store areas.
- Prepare and serve coffee and other food items in accordance with food safety standards.
- Receive and organize deliveries.
- Verify identification for age-restricted products in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
- Perform opening, closing, and shift-end procedures, including cash balancing.
- Help maintain a safe and secure work environment by following company policies and reporting safety concerns.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient daily operations.
Experience & Qualifications
- Previous retail, customer service, or convenience store experience is an asset but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
- Basic math and cash-handling skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
Pay: $15.00-$16.00 per hour
