Position Summary: The Customer Service and Warehouse Associate provides a high level of service to customers by accurately processing quotations and orders, providing timely information and building a positive reputation of the company. This position is also responsible for managing and coordinating warehouse, inventory, shipping and receiving activities.

- Confers with customers by telephone and email to process purchase orders. *
- Checks ERP/MRP systems to provide pricing and availability for parts that meet customer specifications and delivery timeline. *
- Contacts customers to ensure contract order specifications are met. *
- Complies with customer order specifications and delivery requirements on an ongoing basis. *
- Contacts vendors for status of orders and expedites when necessary. *
- Understands product lines and technical aspects of individual products as they apply to customer applications. *
- Reviews the part shortage report and the back-order reports and inform customers of issues, such as late deliveries. *
- Enters price increases, inputs current quotes and updates supplier data. *
- Assists with RMA (returns) as needed. *
- Works closely with other JEM associates and communicates issues and resolutions on a daily basis. *
- Organizes and optimizes warehouse space to promote logical flow and storage of materials. Ensures warehouse is clean and orderly. Ensures inventory is identified and maintained *
- Complies with sales order specifications and delivery/packaging requirements when shipping products. Expedites deliveries to meet customer timelines. Selects packaging to assure product integrity. *
- Loads and unloads trucks. Obtains and maintains forklift operator certificate. *
- Verifies receipt of materials. Checks part numbers, quantities, and labels materials *
- Verifies shipment of materials. Checks part numbers, quantities, and ship-to locations. *
- Complies with all JEM policies and procedures. *
- Supports JEM’s vision and mission and exemplifies JEM’s core values daily. *
- Maintains regular and predictable attendance. *
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications:
- Zero to one year of customer service experience
- One to two years of experience in a warehouse environment and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Fluid power experience or pursuing certification in a fluid power program is preferred
- Experience using ERP systems, Windows, Outlook, Excel and Microsoft Teams
Pay: $15.80-$31.85 per hour
