Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated TIG Welder to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing precise Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) welding to create high-quality metal components and assemblies. Your expertise will ensure that all welds meet strict quality standards, contributing to the production of durable and reliable products. Duties
- Perform TIG welding on various metals, including stainless steel, aluminum, and other alloys, following detailed blueprints and schematics.
- Interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately to guide welding processes.
- Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other manufacturing equipment to prepare materials for welding.
- Conduct rigging and mechanical setup to position components securely before welding.
- Utilize calipers and other measuring tools to verify dimensions and ensure weld quality.
- Assist with assembly tasks, including ductwork fabrication and structural components construction.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and properly handling hazardous materials.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in TIG welding within manufacturing, construction, or industrial settings.
- Knowledge of MIG welding as a complementary skill is a plus.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Familiarity with rigging, crane operation, forklift handling, and machining processes is advantageous.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, calipers, and schematics efficiently.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
- Experience with plasma cutting, press brake machines, and assembly processes is preferred.
- Construction experience or background in ductwork installation is beneficial.
- Valid certifications in welding (preferably AWS or equivalent) are highly desirable.
