Auto Body Technician

Duties & Responsibilities:
· Review damage estimates
· Remove and replace damaged vehicle panels and parts including frame components
· Repair damaged panels and frame components
· Hammer out dents, buckles and defects
· Weld replacement panels
· Inspect repaired vehicles
· Replace front-end components, body components, doors and frame and underbody components
· File, grind and sand body surfaces to be repaired
· Remove damaged panels and grills and bolt or weld replacement parts into place
· Repair or replace interior components
· Operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents and seams
Qualification
· Must have a valid class 5 driver’s license.
· Must be able to work in a high-pressure environment safely.
· Ability to follow the direction of a direct supervisor.
· Must work well with others and be able to adjust to multiple settings and personalities.
· Proficient in planning workload in a time-efficient manner.
· Must be able to present yourself in a positive, professional manner to colleagues and customers.
· Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from co-workers, managers, customers and the public.
· Ability to define problems, collects and analyze data, establish facts, and draw conclusions.
