Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will provide professional massage services that promote relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being for our clients. Duties
- Perform professional massage therapy sessions tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, or other therapeutic techniques.
- Assess client conditions and discuss treatment goals to develop personalized massage plans.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and relaxing environment for clients before, during, and after sessions.
- Keep detailed records of treatments provided and client progress in accordance with privacy regulations.
- Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend follow-up treatments or referrals as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety standards, including sanitation protocols.
- Communicate effectively with clients to ensure comfort and satisfaction throughout their visit.
Qualifications
- Valid massage therapy license or certification as required by state regulations.
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to anatomy, physiology, and health conditions.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming environment for clients.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively listen to client needs and explain treatment options.
- Prior experience in a clinical or spa setting is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided if necessary.
