If you are a Strong, Enthusiastic Trucking Dispatcher here is what we are looking for:
Knowledge of LoadLink is a MUST!! Able to book trucks independently & plan routes, thorough understanding of dispatching software Fleet Manager.
Knowledge of the market rates and able to negotiate with carriers!
Dealing with customers/drivers directly on a daily basis through e-mail and via phone!
Job Description:
- Utilize various transportation provider software systems, to facilitate transportation planning and scheduling.
- Track shipments from pick-up through delivery so that accurate, up-to-date information can be provided regarding any shipment, update on transportation system.
- Prepare and update monthly logistics, schedule to assure deliveries to production locations.
- Coordinate product delivery schedules with customers.
- Organizes and maintains hard copy and electronic documentation supporting order fulfillment, pricing, and contractual obligations.
- Prepares proper paperwork for billing and authorization of a variety of invoice processes.
- Active involvement with problem-solving of issues presented.
- Clearing shipments.
- Filing and administrative duties as required.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of previous experience in Transportation/Logistics field
- Strong computer proficiency, especially with MS outlook
- Book loads off of Load Link
- Ability to cope with pressure/stress, work efficiently in a fast pace/high volume environment
- Highly organized and detail oriented
