About the Role
The Human Resources Generalist plays a key role in supporting the full employee lifecycle, with a primary focus on talent acquisition, onboarding, and employee training. This role will help ensure a seamless recruitment process, an engaging onboarding experience, and the delivery of effective training programs that support organizational growth
What You Offer
· Recruitment support for field and head office roles, including job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and coordinating offers.
· Create recruitment videos, employee testimonials, and culture reels online that align with our corporate brand
· Participate in job fairs and university recruitment events as a brand ambassador
· Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
· Build and nurture talent pipelines through proactive sourcing, networking, and employer branding initiatives.
· Coordinate background checks and reference checks
· Create and maintain onboarding forms in Dayforce
· Monitor onboarding progress for all roles
· Assess training needs in collaboration with managers and employees.
· Develop, coordinate, and deliver training programs, workshops, and learning materials.
· Track training participation, compliance requirements, and program effectiveness.
· Support the implementation of learning management systems (LMS) and continuous development initiatives.
· Additional HR duties and projects as assigned.
Experience
· A bachelor’s degree in business/human resources or equivalent.
· CHRP or CHRL designation or working towards certification as asset.
· Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and compliance requirements.
· Ability to manage and prioritize multiple assignments.
· Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
· Ability to engage diverse audiences by being a strong facilitator
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills and planning skills.
· Excellent problem-solving skills.

Pay: $42,000.00-$48,000.00 per year
