Responsibilities
- Operate cranes and heavy machinery safely and efficiently on construction sites.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate lifting operations.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a secure work environment.
- Assist with rigging and setup of cranes for various lifting tasks.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain detailed logs of equipment usage and maintenance.
- Support other construction activities as needed to meet project deadlines.
- Assist construction cruise with daily operations and concrete work.
- Perform general labour duties, including job site, cleanup, and material handling.
- Assist with loading, unloading and moving materials and equipment.
- Perform basic mechanical maintenance, including greasing, oil checks/ changes, and routine equipment upkeep.
- Work alongside cruise on residential and commercial construction projects.
- Picker tracker, boom truck experience required.
- G endorsement is an asset but not mandatory.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience operating cranes or heavy machinery in a construction setting.
- Valid driver’s license and relevant certifications.
- Ability to work physically demanding shifts involving heavy loads, bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for long periods.
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
- Excellent communication skills, with multilingual abilities considered an asset.
- Mechanical knowledge related to crane operation is preferred.
- Ability to work well within a team environment.
