Project Site Supervisor - Marine Construction

This role is critical to ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
The Project Site Supervisor will oversee daily production activities, coordinate trades, and ensure projects stay on schedule while maintaining quality and safety. This position serves as a key link between management, leads, and production teams, fostering collaboration and accountability.

Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor daily production activities to ensure projects progress according to schedules, priorities, and quality standards.
- Coordinate workflows across multiple trades, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, welding, carpentry, and finishing.
- Identify production bottlenecks, delays, or workflow disruptions and take corrective action or escalate issues as needed.
- Supervise and support production employees, ensuring productivity, performance, and workmanship meet expectations.
- Conduct safety inspections, address unsafe conditions, and ensure compliance with company and regulatory safety policies (e.g., WorkSafeBC).
- Track project milestones and provide regular updates to management on progress, resource needs, and potential issues.
- Assign daily work priorities and ensure labour, tools, materials, and equipment are available to support project requirements.
- Ensure work meets design, quality, and workmanship standards through inspections and corrective actions.

Qualifications
- 5 +years of experience in production, construction, shipyard, marine, or related trade environments.
- Experience in a supervisory, foreman, or lead hand role is an asset.
- Strong understanding of multi-trade coordination and project sequencing.
- Experience in custom-build, refit, or project-based environments is an asset.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, plans, and technical specifications a strong asset.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Able to walk, climb, and work around tools, equipment, and active work areas.
- Available for overtime or schedule flexibility to meet project demands.
