JINYA RAMEN BAR is seeking a dedicated and passionate Ramen Chef / Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing authentic ramen dishes and other menu items with precision and care, ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Duties
- Prepare and cook ramen dishes according to established recipes and standards, maintaining consistency and quality.
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients for various menu items.
- Ensure all food handling procedures adhere to safety and sanitation regulations to promote food safety.
- Serve dishes promptly and professionally to ensure excellent customer service.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including equipment, utensils, and workstations.
- Follow proper food safety practices during meal preparation and service.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy hours.
- Manage inventory levels and communicate supply needs to ensure timely restocking.
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service within a restaurant or food industry setting.
- Strong knowledge of food handling and safety standards.
- Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with meal preparation techniques specific to ramen or Asian cuisine is a plus.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Prior kitchen experience, especially in restaurant settings, is highly desirable.
