Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated worker(s) to join our family business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining fresh produce displays, providing excellent customer service, and working towards high sales. This role is vital in delivering a positive shopping experience and supporting the overall operations of the stand this season and more to come.
Duties
- Stock, organize, and replenish fresh produce displays to ensure attractive presentation and freshness
- Assist customers with locating products, answering questions, and providing product information
- Operate merchandising equipment such as debit machines.
- ,Maintain cleanliness of the produce area, including cleaning displays, and equipment.
- Perform cashiering duties as needed, including weighing items and tending change.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages or freshness to management.
- Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for fresh produce and equipment
- Support store maintenance tasks to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for customers and staff
Experience
- Previous retail sales or grocery store experience is preferred but not required
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers
- Excellent organizational skills to manage stock levels and maintain an orderly department
- Ability to perform cleaning duties diligently to uphold hygiene standards
- Cashiering experience is beneficial but not mandatory
- Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and management

Pay: $17.85-$25.00 per hour
