Job Summary
We are a Janitorial Company, looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various HR functions, including recruitment, employee training, and data management. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings on various platforms.
- Conduct initial screening of applicants and schedule interviews with hiring managers.
- Support training development initiatives by coordinating training sessions and maintaining training records.
- Maintain employee records in HR systems ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Facilitate onboarding processes for new hires, including orientation sessions and paperwork completion.
- Communicate effectively with employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
- Assist in the development of HR policies and programs to enhance employee engagement and performance.
- Review reports submitted by Supervisors regarding cleaner performance.
Experience
- Previous experience in Human Resources and specifically hiring Janitorial staff will be an asset.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in data collection and management.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with all levels of staff.
- Experience with interviewing techniques and understanding of human resources management principles is desirable.
