Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble a variety of menu items, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
- Assist in kitchen operations, including cooking, plating, and portioning food items
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary work environment
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure seamless service throughout shifts
- Creativity to create weekly specials
- Work collaboratively with other kitchen and front-of-house staff
- Contribute to a positive and efficient team environment
Skills
- Experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred, especially with meal preparation and food handling
- Knowledge of cooking techniques and food safety standards
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation
- Familiarity with the food industry’s best practices for hygiene and safety
- Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment operation is a plus
- Willingness to learn new skills related to food preparation and service
- Must be available to work a mix of daytime, evenings, and weekends shifts as well as holidays as needed
