Our seven-veterinarian food animal practice, specializing in dairy production medicine, advanced reproductive technologies and poultry flock medicine, is seeking a knowledgeable Practice Manager. Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relations: By managing the office, cultivate and maintain strong relationships with our valued clients, addressing their needs and ensuring exceptional service.
- Financial & Administrative Support: Work closely with the partners to manage day-to-day operations, including invoicing oversight, payables, banking and reporting.
- Human Resources: Lead and manage our dedicated client care team, including training and fostering a positive work environment.
- Inventory & Procurement: with partner support, coordinate aspects of drug and medical supply ordering and procurement, ensuring optimal inventory levels and cost-effective purchasing.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a management or leadership role, preferably within a veterinary practice or the agricultural industry.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, verbal written and IT support.
- Proven human resources skills, including team management and conflict resolution.
- Understanding of inventory management and procurement processes.
- A solid grasp of the unique needs of a food animal practice is highly desirable.
