One of our Camp Host positions has become available for the remainder of the season.
If you enjoy camping, working outdoors, and meeting people, this is an opportunity to live and work in a beautiful forest recreation campground on Vancouver Island.
The Position
- Full time seasonal contract
- Live on site in your own self contained RV, camper, or van
- Private campsite provided
- Off grid location with pit toilets only, no hookups or potable water
- Immediate start
Your Responsibilities
- Welcome campers and answer questions
- Manage reservations and collect camping fees
- Keep the campground clean, safe, and well maintained
- Complete daily reporting and communicate with supervisors
- Help create a positive camping experience for every guest
You're a Good Fit If You
- Enjoy working independently
- Have strong customer service skills
- Are comfortable using a tablet or mobile apps
- Can perform physical outdoor work in all weather
- Have a valid driver's licence and can pass a Vulnerable Sector Check
Assets
- Previous Camp Host or campground experience
- First Aid
- Housekeeping, maintenance, landscaping, or tourism experience
- Cash handling experience
