TUEX Education is currently seeking online and in-person tutors in all subject areas for all-aged students. On the TUEX STUDENT app, we provide the most convenient way for tutors to find students and get extra income in their spare time. Tutors and students will be matched online based on their requests.
Tutor Responsibility and Duties
- Prepare for tutoring materials (e.g. worksheets, learning materials etc.) before each class
- Meet students online, teach and set up study plans for students in the applicable subject area
- Communicate with students and/or parents and clarify their specific tutoring needs
Tutor Qualification and Skills
- Ability to go to tuex.ca, download the TUEX TUTOR app, register as our tutor and deliver your teaching via an embedded Zoom software on TUEX platform.
- Ability to pass a background check (e.g. police information check)
- Subject related degree or certification required
- Friendly, patient, and sensitive to the needs of a diverse student population
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Established proficiency in subject matter
- Knowledge of other languages is an asset
