We are currently seeking a skilled and dependable Sheet Metal Journeyperson (308A Red Seal) to join our Field Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, modification, and maintenance of HVAC and sheet metal systems on a variety of industrial, commercial, and institutional projects. YOUR Responsibilities
- Install, assemble, and modify sheet metal and HVAC systems in accordance with project specifications and drawings
- Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and technical specifications to ensure accurate installations
- Measure, layout, fabricate, and install sheet metal components as required on-site
- Coordinate with project managers, supervisors, and other trades to ensure projects are completed efficiently and on schedule
- Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues while maintaining quality workmanship.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and promote a strong safety culture on site
- Mentor and support apprentices as required
YOUR Qualifications
- 308A Sheet Metal Worker Certificate of Qualification (Red Seal) required.
- Minimum 5 years of experience working in the sheet metal trade, preferably within industrial, commercial, and institutional (ICI) environments
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, specifications, and technical drawings
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, ductwork installation, and sheet metal fabrication practices
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physically capable of performing the demands of the trade, including lifting, standing, bending, and working at heights
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to workplace safety
