We are a family owned and operated company based in Oshawa Ontario for more than 40 years. We are currently looking for a full-time Kitchen and Bathroom Designer/Project Manager to join our team. This role is best suited for someone who is creative, detail-oriented, and enjoys working directly with clients. You would be responsible for all aspects of our design process: design, sales, and project management. Our projects are primarily located in Durham Region. This role will require travel to clients' residences for site visits at various stages of the renovation process. As such, a valid driver's licence and access to a reliable personal vehicle are required.
Role Overview:
-Meet prospective clients in the showroom and host showroom tours
-Engage with prospective clients to understand their renovation goals
-Schedule and conduct site visits taking accurate measurements
-Prepare floor plans, 3D renderings and quotes for presentation to prospective clients
-Assist clients in selecting cabinetry details (materials, styles, profiles), hardware, countertop, backsplash, etc.
-Schedule all trades required for each project and provide installation documents
-Manage client expectations from the start of project through completion
-Simultaneously manage multiple projects in different stages of design, ordering, and installation
-Other duties as required
Familiarity with 2020 Design program would be an asset.
Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical and structural is a bonus.
