Job Description
Haywood Concrete Products is seeking multiple skilled labourers across various fields of expertise - welding, concrete finishing and carpentry.
Welding Duties:
- Formwork - Placing prefabricated form walls/rails on casting beds by means of welded threaded anchors and ensuring the forms are square and plumb to provided measurements.
Concrete Finishing Duties:
- All of the duties involved in production of pre-cast concrete products - Carrying, placing and tying rebar.
- Shoveling and raking concrete.
- Screeding/vibrating forms.
- Hand troweling concrete to finish
Carpentry Duties:
- Constructing wood form walls, block-outs and jigs for concrete panel production.
- Cutting and placing rigid insulation into concrete panel forms.

Requirements
Welding Requirements:
- Basic experience with stick welding
- Fluent in reading and using both metric and imperial measurements
- Basic understanding of reading blueprints
- Experienced in the safe use of small power tools (grinder, drill, etc.)
- Attention to detail
- Capable of problem solving in the moment
Concrete Finishing Requirements:
- Fluent in reading and using both metric and imperial measurements
- Basic understanding of reading blueprints
- Attention to detail
- Basic/beginner concrete finish experience (hand trowelling, edging, bull floating)
Carpentry Requirements:
- Prior proven experience in carpentry methods
- Fluent in reading and using both metric and imperial measurements
- Basic understanding of reading blueprints
- Experienced in the use of small power tools (grinder, drill, etc.)
- Experienced in the use of table and miter saws
- Attention to detail
- Capable of problem solving in the moment
