Job Overview
This is a unique position where we are seeking friendly and attentive Guest Service Agents with opportunity to cross train as a server who can assist in our onsite HBar. This role involves providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment, ensuring guests have a positive experience while arriving and departing the hotel, enjoying our food and beverage outlets, and attending functions in the new Hyatt House.
The ideal candidate will be organized, personable, and capable of handling multiple responsibilities with professionalism. Previous experience in hospitality, food and beverage service, and hotel front desk operations is a plus, but we welcome candidates with some of these fields of service and eager to learn and grow within our organization. Multilingual or bilingual skills are highly valued to assist diverse clientele and enhance guest interactions.
Duties:
- Greet guests warmly and assist with their food and beverage service needs
- Take and process orders accurately, ensuring timely delivery
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all department areas and service stations
- Handle guest inquiries courteously, providing information about menu items or services
- Operate multi-line phone systems to answer inquiries and take reservations or orders
- Manage guest requests efficiently, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
- Support front desk operations as needed, including check-in/check-out procedures for hospitality settings
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests
Skills
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
- Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and the ability to interact effectively with diverse guests
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are preferred to serve a diverse clientele effectively
- Experience in hospitality, hotel front desk operations, or guest services is advantageous
- Familiarity with multi-line phone systems and guest service protocols is beneficial
- Professional appearance and positive attitude are essential for creating welcoming guest experiences
