Carpenter – Forming / Onsite Colony Construction Worker

Position Overview
TRIA Products Ltd. is seeking a hardworking and dependable Carpenter – Forming / Onsite Construction Worker to join our construction and manufacturing operations. This role involves hands-on colony construction work including concrete forming, framing, structural assembly, and general site carpentry support on active job sites.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working in fast-paced outdoor environments, understands construction fundamentals, and takes pride in quality workmanship. This is a physically demanding position suited for individuals who are reliable, safety-conscious, and team-oriented.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and install concrete forms for foundations, walls, slabs, and structural pours
- Perform general carpentry and framing work on residential, agricultural, commercial, and industrial projects
- Read and follow construction drawings, measurements, and layout instructions
- Assist with concrete placement, finishing preparation, and site setup
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and basic construction equipment safely
- Measure, cut, and assemble lumber and other building materials
- Support steel erection, bracing, and temporary structural work as required
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- Follow all TRIA safety procedures and onsite safety regulations
- Work collaboratively with supervisors, welders, equipment operators, and construction crews
- Travel to onsite colony and remote construction projects as required
QualificationsPreferred Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in:
- Concrete forming
- Framing/carpentry
- General construction
- Agricultural or industrial building projects
- Ability to read tape measures and basic blueprints
- Experience using construction power tools and equipment
- Strong work ethic and ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Physically capable of lifting heavy materials and performing manual labour
- Valid driver’s license considered an asset
- Telehandler, skid steer, aerial lift, or equipment tickets considered an asset
