As a Bartender at CEM Resorts, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, maintaining a clean and organized bar area, and ensuring guests receive attentive and professional service. The ideal candidate has a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and enjoys working in a fast-paced hospitality setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to resort standards
- Welcome guests warmly and provide exceptional customer service
- Take beverage orders accurately and make recommendations when needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, equipment, and supplies
- Monitor inventory and communicate restocking needs to management
- Follow all health, safety, and responsible alcohol service guidelines
- Handle guest concerns professionally and help create a positive dining and lounge experience
- Process payments and maintain accurate transactions through the POS system
- Work closely with servers, kitchen staff, and other team members to ensure smooth service operations
- Assist with opening and closing duties of the bar
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience as a Bartender in a hotel, resort, restaurant, or hospitality environment is preferred
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Knowledge of cocktails, beverages, and responsible alcohol service practices
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy environment
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Smart, professional appearance and a guest-first mindset
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
