Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Gas Fitter to join our team. This is a lead hand roll. In this role you will be servicing equipment across Haliburton county with a skilled laborer or independently and with a company vehicle. You will be directly responsible for holding up a high company standard of work quality and customer satisfaction. This role requires a strong understanding of propane code, sheet metal installation and fabrication and refrigeration service and install. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems in residential homes across Haliburton county. Applicant must hold one or more of these licenses, G2, residential sheet metal 308R, residential refrigeration 313D, plumbing 306A
Responsibilities
- repair, and maintain Hvac equipment and related equipment in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations
- Conduct routine maintenance on furnaces and AC/Heat Pump systems to ensure optimal performance and safety
- Troubleshoot issues within Hvac systems using mechanical knowledge and diagnostic skills
- Follow all safety protocols related to gas fitting, sheet metal, refrigeration Requirements
- Proven experience as a Gas Fitter or in related roles such as plumbing, HVAC, or manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing codes, schematics, and blueprints reading
- Relevant certifications or licenses for gas fitting are mandatory, additional licenses like residential sheet metal, residential refrigeration, plumbing would be an asset
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
