Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Pharmacy Assistant to join our healthcare team. This role involves supporting pharmacists in dispensing medications in Compliance Packaging, providing excellent patient care, and ensuring the smooth operation of pharmacy services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospital or pharmacy C Pack settings, with a focus on patient safety and accurate medication management. Responsibilities
- Take responsibility of Blister pack Patient which includes batch launch , do bisterpack changes , communicating to doctors under the supervision of working Pharmacist
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescriptions accurately and efficiently in Compliance Packaging
- Provide exceptional patient care by answering questions and offering medication guidance under supervision
- Manage inventory, including ordering, stocking, and organizing medications and supplies
- Maintain detailed records of medication transactions and patient interactions in compliance with regulatory standards
- Ensure proper storage and handling of pharmaceuticals according to safety guidelines
- Support medication administration processes as needed, including preparation for inpatient or outpatient services
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and medication plans
- Uphold confidentiality and adhere to all healthcare regulations and hospital policies
Qualifications
- Prior experience in C pack in pharmacy setting is a must
- Pharmacy technician experience is a strong asset
- Knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration procedures
- Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate patient care
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate recordkeeping
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Certification or training in pharmacy assistance or related fields is desirable but not mandatory
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety, accuracy, and professionalism
Pay: $18.47-$26.00 per hour
