Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles involved in collisions to assess the extent of damage accurately.
- Prepare detailed repair estimates using industry-standard estimating software, ensuring clarity and transparency for customers and repair shops.
- Communicate clearly with customers to explain repair procedures, costs, and timelines, providing outstanding customer service throughout the process.
- Collaborate with technicians, parts departments, and insurance adjusters to facilitate efficient repairs and streamline workflow.
- Assist in upselling additional services or repairs that enhance vehicle safety and performance while maintaining integrity.
- Handle cash transactions, payments, and documentation related to repair estimates or customer payments with precision.
- Maintain organized records of inspections, estimates, and customer interactions to ensure compliance and smooth workflow.
Requirements
- Proven dealership experience or background in automotive repair is highly preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on mechanic experience.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
- Experience in sales or upselling automotive services is a plus.
- Familiarity with automotive estimating software and collision repair processes.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; willingness to learn about insurance procedures related to collision repairs.
