The position is full-time, 5 days a week from 7:00am to 4:30pm.

Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to execute projects accurately.
- Perform concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry work, and tile laying with precision.
- Install cabinets, siding, roofing components, flooring, and other building materials.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely to cut, shape, assemble, and install various materials.
- Conduct restoration work including surface repairs and refinishing to restore structures to their original condition.
- Execute construction painting, caulking, siding installation, and general finishing tasks.
- Assist with plumbing and electrical installations or repairs as needed.
- Estimate project materials and labour needs; assist in construction estimating processes.
- Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks safely to meet project deadlines.
- Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to safety protocols throughout all phases of work.
Requirements
- Proven experience in carpentry or related construction fields; handyman experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding schematics for various trades.
- Skilled in concrete forming, masonry, roofing, siding installation, flooring installation, tile laying, cabinetry installation, and woodworking.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in construction settings.
- Knowledge of electrical systems and plumbing is desirable but not mandatory.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to different tasks quickly.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship.
- Valid experience in construction estimating is advantageous but not required.

Pay: $29.00-$32.00 per hour
