Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our dynamic team. As a member of our bar staff, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and handling regulations to guarantee a safe environment for both staff and customers.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting any shortages or discrepancies.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change as needed.
Experience
- Previous bartending experience is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
- Basic math skills are necessary for handling cash transactions and calculating drink prices.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is a plus; certification in food handling is desirable.
- Experience in food service or hospitality environments will be beneficial in providing excellent customer interactions.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are essential for success in this role.
