Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Logistics & Accounts Receivable Coordinator to join our team.
The Logistics & Accounts Receivable Coordinator is responsible for managing both the financial receivables process and the coordination of product shipments. This dual-role position ensures accurate invoicing, timely collection of payments, and proper recording of revenue while also overseeing logistics activities to guarantee efficient and cost-effective delivery of goods. The role requires close collaboration with the Accounting, Sales, and Shipping teams to maintain accurate records, support smooth inventory movement, and provide excellent service to customers.
Roles & Responsibilities
· Generate invoices, credit notes, and maintain the billing system.
· Process and post customer payments (cheque, credit card, wire transfer) and follow up on outstanding accounts.
· Communicate with customers regarding balances, credit applications, and payment schedules.
· Track and update daily inventory movements, including finished goods costing.
· Assist the Financial Controller with financial reporting and receivables documentation.
· Plan and coordinate outgoing and incoming shipments according to customer requirements.
· Arrange transportation, schedule freight appointments, and prepare all shipping documents (invoices, packing slips, bills of lading, customs paperwork).
· Communicate with Sales and Shipping teams to align shipment scheduling and accuracy of paperwork.
· Maintain vendor and carrier communication to support efficient, cost-effective logistics.
· Support the development of policies and procedures for both accounts receivable and logistics functions.
Qualification
· Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain, or Business Administration.
Knowledge & Skills
· Experience in accounts receivable, invoicing, and payment posting.
· Knowledge of logistics, shipping paperwork, and customs.
· Proficient in ERP/accounting systems and Excel.
· Strong organizational, accuracy, and time-management skills.
· Good communication and customer service abilities.
