At Acadian Construction, we don’t just build projects. We build relationships, strengthen communities, and create spaces that leave a lasting impact across Atlantic Canada.
We’re looking for a Site Superintendent who’s ready for more than just managing a construction site. This is an opportunity for someone who wants to lead meaningful commercial projects, work alongside experienced construction professionals, and be part of a growing company where leadership, accountability, and teamwork matter.
Ideally, we’re seeking a senior-level Site Superintendent who can confidently lead projects and mentor teams. However, we’re also open to strong intermediate candidates who are ready to step into a larger role and continue developing their career.
If you’re a motivated construction professional who takes ownership, leads confidently, and thrives in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to hear from you.
What You’ll Do:
As a Site Superintendent, you’ll oversee daily site operations from project start-up through closeout while working closely with Project Managers, clients, consultants, subcontractors, and field teams.
You’ll be trusted to:
- Lead and coordinate all on-site construction activities
- Manage subcontractors, site crews, schedules, and daily workflow
- Maintain project quality, safety, and productivity standards
- Review project drawings, specifications, and schedules to ensure work is executed correctly
- Identify and resolve on-site issues proactively to keep projects moving forward
- Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with safety requirements and company standards
- Coordinate material deliveries, equipment, and site logistics
- Communicate regularly with Project Managers regarding progress, risks, and site updates
- Build strong working relationships with clients, consultants, and trade partners
- Lead project closeout activities, including deficiencies and final site turnover
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial construction site supervision
- Senior superintendent experience is preferred; however, intermediate candidates with strong leadership potential will also be considered
- Strong understanding of commercial construction processes, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and construction reporting tools
- Experience with Procore is considered an asset
- Must be based in or near the Greater Moncton region and willing to travel throughout the Maritimes as required
